HOW TO PLAY

The game is fairly straightforward, but doesn't actually include
any instructions since I never quite got round to adding a screen
for them.

The object is to clear the level of eggs. Eggs are removed by
pushing them together in matching groups of 3 or more.

The cursor keys move the rabbit.

You can only push eggs from behind, so be careful of pushing them
into corners or against walls. Also try not to leave yourself with
fewer than 3 of any design.

Press ESC to return to the level selection screen if you get stuck.

OTHER STUFF

This is the third version of Cortex. The first, called Sortomatic,
was for cellphones, and is not currently available. The second was
for the Nintendo Pokemon Mini handheld, and can be found at:

http://www.pocketfuel.co.uk/cortex

This is the first PC version, and obviously the only Easter-themed
variation. The level designs are exactly the same in all three, but
might be a little trickier to see in this version. I will tidy it
up and do a non-Easter version at some point.

This version was written in FreeBasic (http://www.freebasic.net/),
which is also the third language the game has been written in.

It wasn't going to look like this, but then I did the title screen
and decided to do the whole game in that style.

There is no sound. I don't have time to put any in.

I hope you enjoy it.

I reckon the hardest level is probably 3-7.
