Noooo I died because I was too damned arrogant, it was on the level where the pandas are enclosed by mountains and demons blocked the path, by this time I was pretty cocky so I stocked up with shells and charged!!!!

:,-(

For a simple game I found this pretty fun :)

Nice to hear :)

If you are too lazy to play through the whole game,
just delete all the "map*.dat" files, then start a new game and
see the handmade outtro :o I am most proud of that one ;D
Remember there is a MapEditor too.

cool, I think I'll cheat my way back to the level I was on before and go from there ;)

edit: hmm, it seems deleting any of the levels gets to the ending, I like it, I don't quite get what the background was though.

Yeah, sweet outro.

You sicko! :P

Anyway, like I said in the fb.net forum, nice idea, but really under-developed gameplay.

Add more strategy and choices the player can make in the next...version?

Na, i guess i will continue on my old project ;) :

Early in the morning...

Zombies are running around (You can actually pick up every apple under the tree)

It was very important that i got a day/night feature. You can see dusk/dawn...
Even Snow and rain is inside.

At night several things are glowing, the waterfall or butterflies...

The game is written in Blitz3D but i want to rewrite it in FreeBASIC and "maybe" for GBA in Dragon Basic.

Hey, this looks cool.

Original graphics?

Erm...what Blitz3D features are you using that are crucial for the look of the game? I don't think that there is a direct substitute for those light effects in fbgfx.

I'm using 3D mode, loading alpha sprites with some blend effect to create the light effects.
Well no there are no such thing in fbgfx. I'll have to find something else.
Some graphics are ripps from popular console games,
and some are selfmade (Photoshop & GraphicsGale).
In time i will replace every image with my own graphics...

Heh, I just replayed Panda Hack because of a FBGD update and I was quite wrong with my original impression. The later levels are quite more challenge and they DO feature strategy. My score in the staff rating was 11/20, and this very scored ended up as the total one.

Long time no see...

I put a little effort and released the old Alpha version of "Endless Adventures" (screenshots above).
Have fun.

I like posting in old topics. ;D
