In 320*240, full screen, it runs with satisfactory and smooth 10 FPS. That is, when I disable the shadows. Otherwise, 3 FPS. Hmm…maybe ssjx forgot that option.

If I turn on anti-aliasing 2x or anisotropic texturing there is no effect on the speed. GLSL shades and Multi Texturing don’t work with my video card (the demo won’t start at all).

In 640*480 I get <1 FPS, so I can’t even find an opportunity to turn off the shadows Maybe if they were turned off by default.

Anyway, very nice work on this engine. I love the look and design of the track. You have something here.

Thanks man. :) We should be able to squeeze some more out of your card, if and when we get the octree implemented. Also, using some lower quality textures might help. Some of them are probably a little big for older cards. ;)

I'm bumping this because I've got the physics for the racing game working pretty well, and I wanted to share a video. :)

Just want to say that your engine looks great!  :) It even runs smoothly(50fps in 640x480) on my integrated intel gfx card on my laptop. Hope you keep working on this, then maybe there will be some more FB 3d games  ;D
