I never really gave it a name, as it was more of a learning experience than anything. Anyway, to those who don't have any idea of what I'm talking about, it's a start to a 2d online tank battle game. I doubt if I'l do anything else without, so I'm just posting the source in case anyone else wants to use some of it. It uses sdl_net, gfxlib and fbext.

The idea that I can be presented with a problem, set out to logically solve it with the tools at hand, and wind up with a program that could not be legally used because someone else followed the same logical steps some years ago and filed for a patent on it is horrifying.

It wouldn't be bad that you compiled a small readme file saying how far you went with the project, what issues you solved and what didn’t, and some basic info on the source code structure.

Otherwise, programming lamers like me will have troubles making use of this code.

Still, I'm keeping it.

So, what's next you are working on? Tongue
