Note that the dual build zip Lachie has put up mistakenly has a debug build in there (tsg_build1.exe).

Please use tsg_build2.exe instead!

It's fixed. Sorry for the blunder.

Also, added download for the source, and fixed missing/incorrect links with Impossible Victhorse.

My scores (after limited play time):

1st place = 14 points : Impossible Victhorse by Pitto
Although I did not get very far, It looks like a complete game with many levels and enemies. And on-theme.
Only the player control could be better, slippery movement. Due to low frame rate or physics?

2nd place = 12 points : FB Shooter Force by Landeel
Nice shooter, on-theme. Good graphics. Many weapons.
I don't understand all weapons and items. Gets a bit repetitive.

3rd place = 10 points : Internet of Evil Things by ssjx
Relative simple game, but quite funny and nice style. On-theme.

4th place = 8 points : A Love Letter to FreeBASIC by ChangeV
Cool graphics and original theme use.
A bit limited game. I want to walk around in a larger world and find other 'loves' :-)

5th place = 6 points : The Secret Gallery by Zamaster and Mambazo
Really cool graphics and idea. I got stuck quickly however at some hole.
I don't see the Freebasic theme in this game.

6th place = 4 points : Basic Warfare by Boromir
Looks like a exciting game to play, but I can not figure out how to do things.
Not much relation with the theme. Sometimes crashes at start, in combination with the long loading time, a bit annoying.

7th place = 2 points : simple console TANK by maachal
Too minimal.

8th place = 0 points : FreeBASIC Carom Billiards by 3622
I could not figure out how to play the ball. I could only zoom and rotate. Not on-theme.

Internet of Evil Things is engaging.  I struggle to finish even one level!

So far, Pitto's game seems most polished.

Will play others and vote in a few days.

Huge thank you to all.

Am I the only one having problems starting "a love letter to Freebasic"? It just shuts down after trying to load the music. No errors.

I also have problems with "Basic Warfare". I cannot really do anything but entering into the editor and there I have no freaking clue what I'm doing. Everything else locks up.

Hi BadMrBox.

Not sure what to tell you about A Love Letter to FreeBASIC. You are the first reporting an error with it.

For BASIC Warfare you need to have an active server running. What I was suggested was running one instance of the game first, then go to host server and setup one human and one cpu player. No confirmation on that screen. Just leave it as it is. Then run another instance of the game and go to localhost. It works for me like a charm.

The first several times I played A Love Letter to FreeBASIC it ran fine, but more recently I sometimes get random crashes, always on start up or exit never during game play.  BASIC Warfare crashes when it can't connect (or stay connected) to a server.  The Secret Gallery crashes after it prints "Lode..."

it sounds like FMOD related routine is causing the crash on some system.
BGM loading routine uses dynamically allocated list.
I changed it to simple array. it should fix the crash.
