I'm wet! I loved Boondog. And it was quite a success outside the community, so another game that will promote FB even more in this way...I'm extatic.

Did you draw those sprites? That is excellent work.

Hey all. I have a small playable "sandbox" for some basic player movement here.

It would be great to get some feedback at this point!

Booncat Sandbox

Arrow keys to move.

Hold UP, and press FORWARDS to do a jump from standing.

Press UP while running to do a running jump.

Hold UP while in a jump, against a wall, to "TAC" off the wall.

During any jump, holding UP will increase the height, and holding FORWARD will increase the distance.

When landing, Hold DOWN to go into a crouch (this prevents 'some' fall damage).

When landing, Hold DOWN and FORWARD to do a Roll (also prevents fall damage).

While Running, press DOWN to Roll.

Use the Mouse LMB and RMB to Add/Remove level blocks.

Keep in mind, Booncat is Superhuman Wink

Have a play about and share your thoughts!

Feels nice and smooth to play. Reminds me of Flashback. Will the sequel have some storyline (pls), or it will be just a random puzzle game?

Yeah, it feels smooth and it reminded me about Flashback too. That and the old Prince of Persia. Nice Smiley

Damn... didn't even see this. Very nice so far! It always reminded me of Another World, which I have a secret place for in my dark, cold heart. :p

The idea that I can be presented with a problem, set out to logically solve it with the tools at hand, and wind up with a program that could not be legally used because someone else followed the same logical steps some years ago and filed for a patent on it is horrifying.
