Special FX Objects
« on: January 15, 2008, 04:11:56 PM »
Here are some nice special FX objects I made, perfect for games or whatever you like.

Includes:
--Fader
--Dissolver
--Blixer (Block mixer - wait till you see it, you'll understand better then)
More may be added later, depending on how many people like them.

Source, documentation, binaries, and images used in the example programs included.  Enjoy!  Feedback, comments, etc. would be nice.

This is cool stuff.

I'm already using my own fader for Barren. Of course, Lachie-style. But glad to know I have a clean solution for future projects.

Blixer was cool. Must explore it a bit. Thanks for providing readme files.

Of course, faders aren't at all hard to implement.  The nice thing about this one is it's all packed into an object, very versatile, clean, and neat.

Yeah, Blixer is definitely the most versatile... I made it with simple ideas in mind, and it turned out to have a huge variety of effects - which is odd since it was the simplest to write.

Dissolver was probably the most complicated, but it's not nearly as cool as Blixer.
