I will prepare a poll in the FBGD forum in the next 24 hours that will allow the forum members to vote for the submitted entries. The entry with the highest number of votes will get 8 points, second placed 6, third 4, and fourth 2. These points will be added to the points from the rest of categories scored by me. Each score will be elaborated in detail and each entry will be reviewed as a part of this package.

After I announce the winners (in about a week) I will contact them so we can agree on the payment mode for the competition cash award.

If you would allow me to give some first impressions on the competition. I will admit that I'm slightly disappointed. First, there is the small number of submitted entries. And I should point out that one of them is only a few hours effort. So only 3 people during almost 2 months invested serious effort (plus Mitchell's raycasting engine that never developed into a game). I was expecting that the compo theme and the cash award will result in more interest, or better yet, inspiration from the community. If with nothing else, then in the form of unifinished entries or undeveloped concepts. Maybe more people beside Mitchell remained silent but worked on something. I don’t know. Feel free to showcase your WIP and/or ideas now.

Also, I don't think any of the entries truly delivered something original, although all provided enough of the compo theme to be considered more than valid entries. Still, I expected something innovative that will surprise me. Something that would make me think: “Man, I couldn’t imagine an approach to the antagonist idea like that.” This did not happen.

But all in all, we have 4 new FB games, 2 of which are a very nice addition to our entire body of work, each on its own way. I'm glad because of that.

Thanks to all participants and supporters of the competition. Hope to see you with the next one.

Until the results, feel free to comment the entries, here or in the official community voting thread (when I open it).
