A little like prince of persia, a little like sokoban, a little like a lot of things really.

Boondog is a versitile, customizable, expandable puzzle game (and engine, I suppose!) with a built in Levelpack editor, overridable sprites and scripted levels.

The base game comes with a tutorial and  levelpack with 10 challenging levels.

Some more info & the download link here: http://www.kubiakhart.com/index.php?article=view&id=35

Enjoy!

Gratz!

1h 12m 46s

Not bad at all!

I look forward to seeing Levelpacks made by the players themselves.

If there is enough interest, I will eventually set up a website where Levelpacks can be submitted to be shared with everyone.

With original graphics, right?

Anyway, like I said in that other forum ( Tongue ), great work on this game.

EDIT:

Damn. I'm stumped with level 7 too. You evil man!

I love the new version of this, for it simply keeps getting better. The sound effects are nice and pleasant and the music although a little repetitive is nice. I am planning on making a level pack for this, after I figure out how to do this...lol. You really need to consider releasing a tutorial on creating levels, although it can be figured out it would make it more encouraging for others to make their own. I love how your level design is laid out and the fact that you can customize the graphics is a big plus especially considering you can animate tiles, awesome. I guess the only real complaint I have is the lack of support for tracked music, but really this isn't a big issue. One other thing you could do is maybe release how the level files are laid out, this way others can create editors for this or what not...just a thought.

@Dabooda: Thanks! I agree about the "creating levelpack tutorials" too, it would help Boondog grow faster. I'd love to add support for tracked music, but I refuse to use fmod Wink I prefer using libs made in freebasic alone, just because Smiley

mambazo, I warlmy recommend you to register at www.create-games.com

I think you'll find a lot of audience for your game there.

Cool. But, isn't that for games created with the ClickTeam products?

No it's not. It's a community that originates from the ClickTeam products, but all games are welcomed there. As I am:

http://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=7181

Poxie even ended up being a game of the week there.

Go ahead.

Well, then you definitely had more success than me. At least regarding those sites.
